The Lite plan is designed for the infrequent diner and someone who spends very few weekends on campus. This plan is the minimum for upperclass students in traditional residence halls. First year students in residence halls are eligible for the Lite meal plan during the Spring Quarter only.
The DePaul plan is designed for the more frequent diner and provides for limited purchases at the DePaul Country Market and Brownstones Cafe. This is the minimum plan for first year students.
The Red plan will provide purchasing power to support a regular diner and still allow flexibility for purchases of snacks and grab and go items.
The Blue plan provides enough purchasing power for those with a hearty appetite who also like to snack outside of meal times. This plan also will meet the needs of those who plan on spending weekends on campus.
The Gold plan provides the purchasing power for an active student who eats frequent meals/snacks to meet their needs. This plan will give you the purchasing power to eat regular meals, make frequent snack purchases, and have money left to spend at Brownstones Cafe and at the DePaul Country market.
This plan provides enough purchasing power to meet all your high energy needs without running short at the end of the quarter.
This plan is available to all individuals in the university apartments and is required for those living in Sanctuary Hall/ Town Homes and the McCabe Apartments. The plan provides for infrequent full meal dining and occasional ala carte snack purchases. Students living in university apartments are welcome to purchase a larger plan from the list of residential plans offered.
The Commuter plan is the plan for the student traveling to DePaul's campuses for class and study. Enjoy the benefits of never carrying cash while being able to socialize with your friends on campus.
The Commuter Plus plan provides the more frequent customer purchasing power to cover snacks, and a periodic meal. Perfect for UCC residents who are taking classes at the DePaul Center and on the Lincoln Park campus. Get the benefit of convenience and value!
The average meal price depends on the individual's eating habits. The average full breakfast costs $3.75, while lunch and dinner may cost anywhere from $5.00 or above, depending upon the menu items ordered. Only during weekend buffet hours does the meal cost one flat rate.

You are fully able to change your meal plan with the following restrictions: you can upgrade to a higher meal plan or add money at any time by visiting the Lincoln Park DePaul Student Center office #303 or by visiting our website at: http://studentcenter.depaul.edu. You may change to a lower plan, as long as you stay at the minimum required plan for your year in school and your housing arrangement. If you lower your plan, you must do so NO later than two weeks into an academic quarter. Please note: Meal Plan values on DePaul ID cards do not continue past Friday of Finals Week of each Spring Quarter.
